Alexandra McDonald brings classic fairytale to the stage at Dordt College

Alexandra McDonald of Joint Base Lewis Mcchord, Washington, was part of the Dordt College theatre crew that brought The Ash Girl to the stage. McDonald was the assistant stage manager. She is a freshman majoring in History. She also has a minor in Theatre Arts.

The Ash Girl by Timberlake Wertenbaker is an adaption of the classic Cinderella story, where the Ash Girl must battle the monsters in her heart and mind to find happiness. The show portrays the beauty of hope and true love.
