Anne Sears brings classic fairytale to the stage at Dordt College

Anne Sears of Greeley, Colorado, was part of the Dordt College theatre crew that brought The Ash Girl to the stage. Sears was the assistant lighting designer. She is a sophomore majoring in Secondary Education and English/Language Arts. She also has minors in Theatre Arts and the Kuyper Scholars Program.

The Ash Girl by Timberlake Wertenbaker is an adaption of the classic Cinderella story, where the Ash Girl must battle the monsters in her heart and mind to find happiness. The show portrays the beauty of hope and true love.
