Ariel Gomes leads worship on Chapel and GIFT teams for Dordt College.

Ariel Gomes is one of 28 students leading worship on Dordt College's campus this year. Gomes is a sophomore studying Art with an emphasis in Prearchitectural Design. He plays the electric guitar for the Chapel and GIFT teams.

There are five different ministries teams for Dordt College this school year. A team for Chapel (Wednesdays), GIFT (Sundays), Praise and Worship (Thursdays), and the Traveling Praise Team (performing at churches on Sunday mornings).

Each team consists of five to eight members, with one or two student leaders. Team leaders run rehearsals and make decisions about song choice and song arrangements. Teams are typically include acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano, auxiliary, and vocals.
