Caleb Vanderhill graduates from Dordt College

Caleb Vanderhill of Kalamazoo, Michigan, is among 326 Dordt College students who was awarded a diploma at the 2015 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 8, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

Vanderhill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology: Youth Ministries.

Among this year's graduates, 283 have earned baccalaureate degrees, 21 associate of arts degrees, and 22 masters of education degrees. The baccalaureate degrees presented include bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in engineering, bachelor of science in nursing, and bachelor of social work degrees.

Pastor Aaron Baart gave the commencement address, "Finish last. Become least. Get lost."

Baart serves as the Dordt College dean of chapel, oversees campus ministries, and teaches in the theology department. He recently co-authored Vivid: Deepening Your Colors. He and his wife, Nicole, founded the non-profit One Body One Hope organization, based in Sioux Center with ties to Liberia. Baart earned a B.A. in history from Dordt College and an M.Div. from Regent College.
