Cornelia Koekkoek to graduate from Dordt College

Cornelia Koekkoek of Barrhead, Alberta, Canada, is among 344 Dordt College students who will be awarded diplomas at the 2014 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 9, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

Koekkoek will graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in secondary education and social science. She also has a minor in middle school classroom.

Among this year's graduates, 292 have earned baccalaureate degrees, 20 associate of arts degrees, and 22 masters of education degrees. The baccalaureate degrees to be presented include bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in engineering, bachelor of science in nursing, and bachelor of social work degrees.

Pastor John Lee of Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center will give the commencement address. With a nod to Charles Dickens, Lee's address is titled "Great Expectations."
