Emily Tuuk serves as student ambassador at Dordt College

Emily Tuuk of Lansing, Illinois, is one of 20 student ambassadors for Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. Tuuk is a senior majoring in Social Work. She also has minors in Sociology and Psychology.

Student ambassadors are leadership positions for students on campus. They are chosen individually by the Admissions Office because of their great leadership on campus. Their work is extremely valuable in the recruitment process of future Dordt students.

The ambassadors provide a glimpse of the student life on Dordt's campus. They are the first people prospective students meet when they arrive on Dordt's campus, giving tours of the resident halls and apartments the first night the students arrive and making them feel like part of Dordt's community right from the start.
