Eric Rowe of Renton, Washington, participated in Dordt College's theatre production of Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson. Rowe is a senior majoring in Engineering.

Rowe was the Stage Hand for the production.

This breathtaking and thought-provoking true story of Henrietta Leavitt and the women of the Harvard Observatory captured the imagination of the audience with projections, period clothing, and a star-covered floor surrounding the set.

In a world where scientific fields were largely dominated by men, the female astronomers of the Harvard College Observatory worked tirelessly to catalogue the night sky. One of these talented women is Henrietta Leavitt, whom the story is about. Her astronomical discoveries laid the foundation for unlocking ground-breaking discoveries about the universe.
