Heather Kaemingk graduated from Dordt College

Heather Kaemingk of Sioux Center, Iowa, was among the 355 graduates of Dordt College who received diplomas at the 2017 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 5. Kaemingk graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree in Social Work.

This year, 309 graduates earned baccalaureate degrees, 15 earned associates, and 31 earned a master's of education. The baccalaureate degrees presented included bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in engineering, bachelor of science in nursing, and bachelor of social work degrees.

Dordt College Theology Professor Mark Verbruggen gave the commencement address, "The Power of One." He encouraged the graduates to be God's light in the world, working to further his kingdom in all they do.
