Jesse Hooyer graduated from Dordt College

Jesse Hooyer of Visalia, California, was among the 355 graduates of Dordt College who received diplomas at the 2017 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 5. Hooyer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Construct Management, and Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

This year, 309 graduates earned baccalaureate degrees, 15 earned associates, and 31 earned a master's of education. The baccalaureate degrees presented included bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in engineering, bachelor of science in nursing, and bachelor of social work degrees.

Dordt College Theology Professor Mark Verbruggen gave the commencement address, "The Power of One." He encouraged the graduates to be God's light in the world, working to further his kingdom in all they do.
