Jonathan Posthuma of Brandon, Wis., Tours with Dordt College Concert Choir

Jonathan Posthuma of Brandon, Wis., is spending spring break on a five-state music tour with the Dordt College Concert Choir. Posthuma is a senior majoring in secondary education and music with an emphasis in choral and instrumental education. He also has a minor in the Kuyper Scholars Program.

Performances will be held in Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. The choir will perform a variety of pieces including Charles Hubert Hastings Parry's "I Was Glad," Ralph Vaughan Williams' "The Old Hundredth Psalm Tune," and Beethoven's "Hallelujah" from The Mount of Olives. The 50-person choir will perform under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Kornelis.

Music scholarships are available to qualified students.
