Jonathan Posthuma touring with Dordt College's Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra

Jonathan Posthuma of Brandon, Wis., son of John and Loretta PosthumaI, will tour with the Dordt College Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra over spring break. Posthuma is a Senior majoring in Secondary Education-- and Music: Choral/Instrumental Education. He also has a minor in Kuyper Scholars Program.

The group will tour to seven states and one Canadian province. Performances are scheduled in Iowa, Indiana, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, and Ontario, Canada.

The 48-person band and 21-person orchestra will perform a variety of pieces under the direction of Bradley Miedema.

Dordt College has approximately 300 U.S. and international students who participate in the music program, with opportunities to perform in four choral groups, two orchestras, and three bands. Music scholarships are available to qualified students.

Dordt College is a comprehensive Reformed, Christian college in Sioux Center, Iowa.
