Luke Venhuizen graduated from Dordt College

Luke Venhuizen of Munster, Indiana, was among the 355 graduates of Dordt College who received diplomas at the 2017 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 5. Venhuizen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relation. He also has a minor in Journalism.

This year, 309 graduates earned baccalaureate degrees, 15 earned associates, and 31 earned a master's of education. The baccalaureate degrees presented included bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in engineering, bachelor of science in nursing, and bachelor of social work degrees.

Dordt College Theology Professor Mark Verbruggen gave the commencement address, "The Power of One." He encouraged the graduates to be God's light in the world, working to further his kingdom in all they do.
