Megan Ludens Plays Kate Keller In Dordt College Theater Production of "the Miracle Worker"

Megan Ludens of Saint Charles, Minnesota, will play the part of Kate Keller in the Dordt College production of "The Miracle Worker." Ludens is a junior majoring in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. She also has a minor in the Kuyper Scholars Program.

"The Miracle Worker" is a story about tutor Annie Sullivan, who battles to reach into and transform the dark and silent world of blind and deaf student Helen Keller. Performances are scheduled for February 27, 28, March 1, and 2 at 7:30 p.m. and March 2 at 1 p.m. at the TePaske Theatre.

The production is directed by Dordt College Professor of Theater Arts Josiah Wallace, who joined the department at the start of the 2012-13 academic year. Wallace received a B.A. in theater arts from Seattle Pacific University and is completing an M.F.A. in directing at Baylor University. He has taught theater courses at both institutions and also worked as the director of outreach at Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle, Washington.
