Stephanie Fynaardt to Perform in Europe with Dordt College Orchestra

Stephanie Fynaardt of Pella, Iowa, will embark on a performance tour with the Dordt College Chamber Orchestra to Europe. Fynaardt is a senior majoring in nursing.

The 32-person orchestra will travel to Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Their tour will include many cities that played a significant role during the Reformation, including Heidelberg, Eisenach, and Wittenberg. The trip also includes a stop in Dordrecht, where the Canons of Dordt were written, an event that inspired the naming of Dordt College.

Music is an integral part of campus life at Dordt College. Approximately 300 U.S. and international students participate in the music program, with opportunities to perform in four choral groups, two orchestras, and three bands. Music scholarships are available to qualified students.
